  1. I think HELLRAISER: BLOODLINE was the last great Hellraiser film. An underrated film, and unlike JASON X or LEPRECHAUN 4, the only is not all set in outer space. Though DEADER had it’s moments, and I have yet to see HELLWORLD, the series plummeted after BLOODLINE.

    • I don’t think it ever would have been a great film. That’s something ‘Hellraiser’ was, and ‘Hellbound’ bordered on greatness, but was ultimately a very solid companion piece. ‘Hell on Earth’ was franchise rape, and ‘Bloodline’ would have been the next good one and a return to form, but trust Dimension to fuck that one up! I have only seen ‘Hellseeker’ and ‘Deader’ of the DTV sequels, and while not as good as ‘Bloodline’, like that movie, they both have their moments and are better than ‘Hell on Earth’. Not seeing ‘Inferno’ and ‘Hellworld’, I obviously cannot past judgment on them.

  2. great write up, i also have to say that i have the workprint of bloodline and its SO much better than was released

so yes a spot on write up by you!
